Sales Trader Middle East at International Food Connectors BV

International Food Connectors BV, a young & dynamic international food trading company based in Rotterdam (Kop van Zuid), is looking for an experienced commercial talent with a proven track record in the frozen and/or fresh food industry who wants to make the next step in his/her career.

In this role you will be traveling several weeks per year to visit your customers and/or suppliers as this is key to your success. You will join a young and ambitious team that works together very closely to reach common goals!

Tasks include:

  • Maintaining your relationships with your commercial partners
  • Developing new business, and strengthening your own portfolio
  • Building & maintaining strong relations with your commercial partners
  • Working closely together with your colleagues from logistics & finance to monitor your business
  • Following & understanding market trends, and using these to your advantage


  • University degree (HBO/WO)
  • At least 2 years experience in a sales position in the food trading industry (ideally frozen or fresh products).
  • Fluent in English and Arabic, both verbally & written. Portuguese is a major plus.
  • Good knowledge of the food trading sector and a useful, relevant network
