About the job
International Food Connectors BV, a young & dynamic international trading company, is looking for an enthusiastic person to work with our the logistics team. You will work alongside your logistics colleagues, and also directly with your colleagues from sales & purchase, whom you support in organizing the global stream of goods.
Your responsibilities:
- Planning, buying & booking orders for road & sea transport to global destinations
- Supporting your colleagues from sales & purchase on all logistic matters
- Maintaining relations with our logistic partners worldwide
- Offering after service to our customers on documentation matters
Our logistics team consists of hardworking, funloving people with heart for the company and the field of logistics. Looking forward to welcoming our new colleague to join this wonderful team!
What we expect from you:
- Educational background: Logistics (MBO/HBO)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position (export + sea freight)
- Experience in a trading environment, ideally in the food commodity trading business
- Knowledge of INCOTERMS
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both verbally & written. Any additional languages are a plus.
- You pay attention to details!
- You find creative ways of solving logistic issues
- Full time availability
